Called to the Bar'd

So many people appear in Magistrates' Court clumsily dressed, hands in pockets and mumble monosyllables into the floor .

This chap however may have erred on the other side however, turning up dressed in white in a stretch limo with a glamorous "research assistant", quoting Shakespeare while in possession of a Pot Noodle and a Cuban cigar.

No, I don't know what to think either.

Just the sort of idiot who wouldn't realise how identifiable these things are. Any library with the money to buy a rare early modern book like that, has the specialists to check them out. He should have stuck to Jackie Collins.

Cracking blog by the way.

Stan - without wishing to highlight your newness to being a JP - perhaps go back and check your facts. The provision to pay a fine instead of going to prison was only recently brought in and would certainly never have been applicable to the person you are glamorising.

Perhaps check and then repost.
