Halloween U-turn

A few days ago, I bemoaned (in a joyless whining kind of way) the fact that Americans spend $60m a year at Halloween on their pets.

Having seen the photos (thanks Guy L.), I've changed my mind

Next year I might consider renting a dog just for Halloween.

    Jesus H son of a bugger...this must be in the more deranged states. The Midwest where I lived would never have been so utterly ridiculous.

    I list the deranged states as follows, with reason:

    Texas: no comment needed.
    California: moonbats.
    Arizona: out there.
    South Carolina: bible bashing toothless wonders.
    New Hampshire: any state that has "Live free or die" on their license plates is a chicken short of a korma.
    Florida: say no more than Jeb.
